Reading is my hobby and comics are one of my favorite. I believe they help to form the habit of reading. In my country, Sri Lanka , there nice comics published in Sinhalese. If translated to English and other international languages, they will be very popular, I believe.

BTW, I know it's not intentional, but your robot "mascot" reminds me just a bit of Bender from Futurama, which is cool, I love me some Bender, "Kiss my shiny metal-***, baby!":)

Incredible Hercules, Age of Sentry, Hellcat, Incognito, DMZ, Thor, Northlanders, Unknown Soldier, and (heh) X-Force are all next to my bed in a stack on my nightstand (haven't read the Incognito though, but am sure it's great).

I'd love to have a copy of Kramer's Ergot 7, but doubt I'll ever have the funds for it...I wonder if my library could get it?

I got a great christmas haul of comics that I'm plowing through.
City of Glass which I finushed and thought was great. Will Ensier's Contract with Trilogy, Only read the first book which has wonderfully expresive art. Absolute Watchmen: Did anyone else realize that in Watchmen's world Veitnam is the 51st state? Big pages show all. Breakdowns, Portrait of the Artist as a young $#^$%^! : I liked this a lot more then I thought I would. I also have haven't started The Adventures of Luther Arkwright and Palestine the special edition.
ohh and I just finushed reading the first volume of Love and Rockets which was great.

Good to see you guys back!

I'm currently immersed in Bat-Manga!, which is completely awesome. Also recently read Madman Atomic Comics vol. 1 and still think Mike Allred is a genius.

I like this feature! And, thank you for the kind words. (Yes, each chapter in HIGH MOON is a 'different season')

As to the books I read this week:

Incognito was pretty fantastic. I've also really been enjoying Guardians of the Galaxy and Nova.

Nice idea. I've been thinking about reading the Enemy Ace Showcase after loving that Ennis written mini a few years back. (one of the few Ennis works that I've liked)

Rich and I are reading the same thing right now in the Absolute Sandman books. Though this is my first time to read past what was in volume 1 of the Absolute. The story is great so far, and I'm glad I waited for this packaging to read them in. (Especially since I got it off Ebay for $50! each brand new)

Though I've had to change how I usually read, laying in bed with the book on my chest, to sitting up with the book in my lap. As I nearly killed myself trying to balance in on my sternum laying down. (its one HEAVY book)
