		<description>I was at a con with Jeph and other web comics creators in Massachusetts last summer, and much of what he writes parallels the discussions we were having as I was selling books and he was selling T-Shirts. He sold more shirts than I did books... and he did a panel on this with Randall Munroe (xkcd) and other web cartoonists as they talked about making money doing a web comic - merch,  merch, merch... There was a general sense of amusement with the &quot;old guard&quot; who still don&#039;t &quot;get it&quot;, esp. as all the panelists were making a living with their work...</description>
