I do have on my shelves and slowly growing collection of Marvel Essentials. Not as big as I'd like, but I just bought the Nova one today. I try to pick up a couple of them every few weeks via Amazon. Sure, they may be B&W but at least they are a cheap way to catch up on classic comics. Great collection, BTW. TPB is the way to go these days. I just wish I had the money and the space.
