Galloway, Quinones reveal Wednesday Comics art
Now that DC Comics has officially announced its next weekly series, the 12-issue Wednesday Comics, we’re starting to get peeks at some of the title’s artwork — beyond Kyle Baker’s Hawkman, of course.
Joe Quinones unveils a little from his Green Lantern story with Kurt Busiek, while Sean Galloway shows off his Teen Titans character designs.
You can see more of Quinones’ early work on the project — including a sculpture of Hal Jordan’s head! — here and here.
Update: Ben Caldwell has posted rough color tests and sketches for his Wonder Woman story. (via Bad Librarianship)

Oh, hell yes!
Cheeks on Teen Titans? That’s a perfect fit.
Can’t wait to see what Kerschl’s been tapped to draw.
DC’s really pulling out all the stops on this one.

I don’t know if it’s just me and my computer but I have a problem with CBR (and CSBG and R6 by extension) where the text will randomly disappear of its own accord. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I’m guessing Kerschl’s doing the Flash.

I’m still peeing over all of this, so excited, every new thing I see connected to this makes it grander and grander!

The Titans isn’t my style but I can see it.
Wonder Woman looks like Wonder Teen, but o/w ok.
This is going to be great.

Now, *that’s* the GL *I* love–no Corps, no massive battalions of multi-color ring wielders, no convoluted, multi-title-crossover storylines. Just a lone-wolf lawman, one of the most imaginative weapons in the universe, an alien setting, and a passle of antagonistic extraterrestrials!

Hell yeah, Juss! I’m pretty excited about this project.

Preston – I’m having the same issues with disappearing text.

Exaplin to me how Kurt Busiek had the opportunity to do Kamandi and let it slip through his fingers. No problems with what I’ve seen of his GL, but based on his statements, that’s like Galahad walking up to the castle of the grail and asking “What do you have in some nice flatware?”

This seems unbelievably cool. I don’t even care for super-hero comix anymore (unless they’re by Darwyn Cooke), but I’m psyched for this.

Rod: I actually noticed that it only happens when my mouse hovers over the text (hence why it’s more problematic in a links-heavy post like this) , is it the same deal for you?

Hey, Ambush Bug’s sidekick isn’t anywhere on that Teen Titans group! I feel gypped!
