No matter what I think of the product Marvel is currently producing, Quesada will always be one of my favorite artists.

God, he's an amazing artist...nice to see him dropping that "chunky style" he had a few years back.

Whoa, very nice. Wish he could free up more time to do some covers regularly.

It's a nice cover... But Joey Q killed Spidey for me, and the pretty cover just isn't enough.

Am I the only one that thinks Spidey's right leg is terribly out of proportion ? Not meaning to pick nits here, cause I really like Joe's artwork, but this one is glaring to me.

??
Do you see that right leg?
It looks as if his right leg & foot are sharp enough to cut steel!

I'm with Shaun. It's like Spider-man is dead or something like that. I came across one of his animated shows and said to myself 'I miss that guy.'

For God Sakes, let him be EIC, because he sucks at drawing anymore. That is the most craptacular piece of art in awhile. He's losing it!!

Bwahaha, the right leg is very short indeed!
You don't draw in so long you lose your edge.

Geriatric Spider-Man: after 600 issues it's quite logical !!

On the Internet everyone is a critic. For what it's worth, I dig the cover. I suppose others who have commented in the negative could easily surpass Joe Q's skill level, right?

How many JOINTS are in a human ankle?
For that matter, how many joints are in a LID?

i think some of the BND is really good but its the a shame how the BND played out they could have thought more easier and better options... By the way l like Quesada's old stuff and if you're reading this Joe (which your probably not!) i think your stuff needs to be inked by Nowlan or your mate Palmotti...

I demand artistic realism in my comic books about radioactive, costumed spider men!
Actually, I'm sort of indifferent to this art. It's not my cup of tea, but I'd rather artists bend reality for the sake of action and composition than read comics that look like photoshopped porno.

The background looks "Greg Horned", and Spider-Man's right leg must be a transplant from another universe.
Time for Joe to pack up his pencils.

Y'know I love stylized artwork but WTF is this? Stylized means you have SOME clue what you are doing. Does he get paid by the line? It looks like a rotting corpse wearing a Spider-man costume. How many random bumps and lines and joints and muscles are there from his waist up over his right shoulder and down his right arm.
It boggles my mind that this guy ever got work from Marvel let alone he's EIC. And the sad part is he's never going to go away. He'll die at that job.
