The reviews I've seen for the WW movie have been decidely mixed. I still haven't seen it yet, though it is in the Netflix queue.

The sales for New Frontier don't surprise me. The Death of Superman, in comics form, was a massive hit that enjoyed mainstream media coverage. New Frontier? Not so much. In fact, I'd argue that's a tougher sell to mainstream audiences, since it's a period piece and all. I never bought the comics for that very reason. I just didn't care about the concept, and I'm not a fan Darwin Cooke either.

I did see the movie when it aired on Cartoon Network and I thought it was OK, but nothing worth buying. Sure it had Superman and Batman, but so what? It's not like either character really did anything in that movie. Batman served almost no purpose, and Supes was taken out of the action before the big climax. It always amazes me that the supposed mightiest hero of them all is often beaten down, or somehow taken off the table for less powerful characters to save the day. I understand how Supes can make others seem irrelevant, but it begs the question of why we still have Superman at all if he's never truly allowed to be Superman.

I gotta agree with Mr. Wesley... I'm a Bat-fanatic, but this GL movie is the one I'm most looking forward to. Gotham Knight had its moments, but it was a real disappointment in many ways. I think this GL movie could be seriously awesome though!

I recall seeing a number of number of comments (I don't remember where now, but they were there) giving Wonder Woman... not poor reviews, but middling reviews.

I'm a big fan of the Trinity, and have read their books regularly for years or decades, but THIS is the movie in the line that I'm most looking forward to so far, and it'll probably be the first I see.

I wouldn't say New Frontier "featured" anyone other than Hal. Not a criticism of the movie, just pointing it out.

Wonder Woman was definitely the best and worked the best as a single story.

Wonder Woman received "mixed reviews"? WTF? I thought everyone loved that movie. I don't recall seeing a single bad thing written about it, especially compared to Gotham Knights. Really a shame it's sold so much lower than the others when it was easily the best offering so far.
