No worries, Scott... Thanks for writing! Glad to hear that the comics TB is giving out are kid-friendly.... I hope the promotion goes well, and a lot of people get to see your work. That's a total shame that TB in your area doesn't have the books! Keep checking around...

I tend to like Mexican food that's a lot more, um, authentic, but my daughter digs the Bell and I have it once in a while... Now that I know the books are cool for her to read, we'll make a trip and see if we can get them. She's a big fan of Runaways (the Brian K. Vaughan run at least), and she's seen some of the Marvel movies, so she'll be receptive to this.

Look forward to seeing it, and I hope your good fortune continues!

Hi Shawn!

I drew the Captain America story, and I assure you, it's not a reprint of issue 25. A good clean, wholesome stand-alone Cap story where he fights one of the arms of Hydra. I tried to make it accessible, fun and open.

I hope you enjoy it, if you come across a copy. My local T Bell doesn't seem to carry it ... <:-(

Before any asks, BTW, that cover shown above is the VARIANT cover to Cap #25.

Wait... Are those the four issues being offered, shown up above? So it's Cap #25... The "death" issue? A great comic, yes (all of Brubaker's run has been), but is that a great one to be giving the kids? Honestly?

Forgetting that it's not a stand-alone story at all, but introducing Captain America to the kids with his death? Odd choice, and not exactly kiddie stuff... I'm not sure what the other three issues above are specfically, but I would've thought four original, stand-alone, kid-friendly tales would've made a lot more sense.

If you've just had Taco Bell food that'd be a Fantastic Squirt.

Tasteless mexican food jokes aside, I might have to check out the Taco Bell kid's menu now. I'd imagine 4 kid's meals would just about equal what I'd normally order from the regular menu. I wonder if you can get all 4 issues at once by ordering 4 kid's meals.
