Gah! I'm so sorry about that Matt. I don't know where I got "E" from. It's fixed now though.

These are nice set of books. You can choose from these selection according to your mood. I guess I'll read the Salt Water Taffy first.

I finished reading the following in the last week:

1) Spider-Man Visionaries: Roger Stern Vol. 1

Really? Visionary? I was underwhelmed at this mostly-PPTSSM stuff that seems mostly unremarkable.

2) Rapunzel's Revenge by Shannon Hale, Dean Hale and Nathan Hale

Loved it! Fun twist on traditional fairy tails and containing a matter-of-fact feminist message. Great artwork too!

3) Doctor Strange: The Oath by Brian K. Vaughan and Marcos Martin

I had heard a lot of good things about this as it was coming out monthly, so I picked up the TPB. It forced Strange to make some tough choices (mankind or Wong?) and I had fun reading it. But in the end I felt it was just a little bit off a home run. Good, but not great.

4) Cray-Baby Adventures Vol. 1 by Art Baltazar

I've been totally digging Baltazar's recent work on Tiny Titans and his 'The Big Amoeba' book, so I decided to try this collection of some of his earliest work. It was rough around the edges, and it seemed a little too random for my tastes (A zombie duck! A space captain camel! An Elvis-impersonating weasel! No narrative structure!). I'll stick to his more recent stuff, thanks.

5) Indiana Jones Adventures Volume 1 by Philip Gelatt and Rick Lacy

I really enjoyed this! Fun story, clean, clear artwork. I'm looking forward to volume 2!

If this is a party everyone's invited to, I finished up JSA: Thy Kingdom Come Part 3, and am bouncing back and forth between Eduardo Risso's Tales of Terror and The Dylan Dog Case Files. I've been searching for the Dylan Dog books for years with no luck, so I'm super-excited to read this. I also now have an emptiness in my life... Better buy more alcohol tomorrow.

In an unparalleled maneuver of great friendship my non-comic reading friend remembered me not having the cash for "I Saw You..." at Barnes and Noble, and gave it to me for my birthday on Saturday! Been reading little bits of it and love it.

Also reading old issues of Powerman and Iron Fist for the first time...which are "interesting" and no where near as bad as I was expecting. Sometime during the week I intend on finally reading my copy of the Incredible Change-Bots...bit of anxiety toward that one, 'cuz as much as I love Jeff Brown, I'm completely apathetic toward anything Transformers related, parody or not.

AND, this week's Uncanny X-Men had me wondering, once again, if I'd being enjoying the title, if it could go one month without a "cheesecake-pin-up" styled artist...Dodson, Land (shudder), and eventually Paquette (who's Terra Obscura was pretty solid actually, women's broken back-mannequin poses aside)...still not sure if I'd be digging Matt's story, but will never know based on how "distracting" the art is.

I finally read the four hardcover volumes (issues 1-48) of Kirkman's 'The Walking Dead' over the past couple weeks. As someone who isn't predisposed to enjoy horror or zombie stuff, I enjoyed them much more than I thought I would. I saw at my LCS today that issue 60 just came out. I hope that means another 12-issue hardcover will be out soon, because I'm eager to read it.
