I've wanted this collected for the longest time. Fantagraphics put out a great book a couple of years back that went through the whole long history of Disney's fight with Dan O'Neill and the Air Pirates. Highly recommended. I'm sure Disney will stay keep it from getting collected somehow, but if it got reprinted I'd buy it. I respectfully disagree. I’ve wanted this collected for the longest time. More shock than substance, I'm afraid (and perhaps it says too much about my own desensitisation that I didn't find any of that shock content to be all that shocking). I agree that there is a some charm to its playfulness; but from the one issue, I don't see it as work in pressing need of collection.
