Yeah comics from the 90′s were lots of fun, thats why I can’t wait to get IMAGE UNITED, let the fun begin again!

Comics were a lot more fun in the 90s, even with some of the variant covers and comic explosion that yielded so many comics it had to burst eventually, a lot of stuff was so much fun and sometimes tragic, too. For instance, IMage Comics coming out. Man, that was exciting. Sure they didn’t know how to construct a story well, but it was great. David’s run on the INcredible Hulk and the X-Men stuff! Yay! Tragedy can be fun too, look at Uncanny X-Men 300 or Amazing Spider-man #400.

We could use some more fun about now, unfortuantly Marvel’s best good-guy is a back-stabbing satan worshiper now. No, I don’t mean Bendis. ;(

That’s just it, comics WERE better when they were FUN.

..and it would be miraculous if Johns to get through an entire arc of anything without going for the gore. Right now DC Comics are just horror movies with capes hung on them.
