I've been wondering if the Deathlok story has any connection tot he aborted Deathlok mini that Darick Robertson was drawing (blanking on the writer - wait, looked it up, Daniel Way). Some of the elements seem like something I heard about from that story. Then again, those may have just been elements almost anyone would tend to include in a new Deathlok story....

It would be amusing if someone heard the character referred to, and mistook the reference for Deathklok (Adult Swim's METALOCALYPSE, plus this month's meeting with the Goon). Of course, that could just be me - I like humor based on wordplay....

Rat Tales is one of my favorite comics, in many ways highlighting my favorite things about the Bone series. A Sniegowski Bone novel? A Kindt sci-fi book? The third Blacksad in English? Hardcover Rosa?

This is the best announcement post EVER.

Kurt-

I can't wait to see you two team up. Brian told me you guys had something in the works and my performance anxiety kicked in big time. American Gothic looks like one of those books that I will buy religiously (like Astro City), yet stall the reading experience for fear of the paralyzing envy that will follow.

4, 6 and 11 intrigue me.

14 and 15 completely excites me!

Man, for all the lack of mainstream superhero news from comiccon, there's at least tons of other great stuff announced.

The only other news I was really interested in not mentioned here was the I, Zombie series by Allred and Roberson, mainly because of teh promise of more Allred art.

You're very lucky to be working with Brian, Phil.

On the other hand, he's very lucky to be working with you, too.

Can't wait.

I'm trying my hardest to make sure The Anchor meets expectations. If we fall down it won't be on the art side. Churilla is working on a new level of deliciousness.

I won't be excited about Miracleman until they announce a release date for the Moore/Gaiman stuff.

I didn't realize the new Bone stuff was prose with illustrations. I'll still buy it, especially since it comes with the Stupid Stupid Rat Tales that I never got.

I think the thing I'm most interested in at this point is Furry Water. Grampa's art is jaw-dropping. I'm also excited about the re-release of Mesmo Park, since I missed it the first time around.
