I had the chance to read the first Beasts of Burden story, “Stray”, back in the Dark Horse Book of Hauntings and I thought it was one of the best stories in the entire book. I’m glad to see this series made the cover of Previews. I’m really looking forward to collecting this series, especially with Jill Thompson on board. I’ve loved her artwork ever since her work on Sandman and since I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her at a Con, I can also vouch that she’s a very cool, friendly person.

This series really looks great and I hope it sells like gangbusters.
