Call me when Niceiza is writing em.

People need to get over they're "I love this character!" thing and remember it's the writer that matters.

There's not a writer working at Marvel who could write Zemo as he evolved to...Maybe the Lucifer-era Carey.

I doubt these will be the Thunderbolts, they'll be the adversaries.

And good for that. Loving Diggle's run so far, liking the team they have too.

As for the good old days...

Yeah, I yearn for a time when I could read Thunderbolts without feeling like I needed a shower when I was done, like I'd just flipped through the super hero equivalent of Hostel or Saw.

Writers like Warren Ellis and Mark Millar are going to be the death of comics. Mediocre, overhyped hacks.

I want to see either of them tell a story without pissing on the core idea of the product. They seem to wallow in passe 90s deconstructionist BS.

It was neat for ten minutes, now it's just dire and depressing and out of touch. Both Marvel and DC need to get their heads out of the sand and realize no one's gonna buy super hero comics that depress them in times like these. Back when things were good, it was an okay strategy, now it's piling on.

Every time I read a solicitation of an Ellis or a Millar comic I think "Not this shit again!"

Arrrrrh! NO! Nobody cares! There's a REASON they got Warren Ellis to reboot the thing to begin with!

Balls. If this becomes a nostalgia thing I might have to drop the title. I can't stand that "good old days" kind of shit.

I miss the old T-Bolts. Never much cared for the past few years. I want Zemo and crew back, doing the strangest most convoluted shit to try to redeem themselves and do the right thing.

After Born Better I would have read a Zemo solo title. I love that guy. He's...easily the most complex character in the Marvel Universe, arrogant but driven to do the right thing because he so loathes what his family has done over the years and using tactics that are more like his family's than he's willing to admit.

Sometimes it takes a man with questionable tactics to save the world.

I think if anyone he'd be the PERFECT foil for Norman, who is pure evil cloaked in patriotism and fear mongering, he could come out and cut to the quick, he's not that different, except Norman's utterly insane beneath his facade. Zemo may be cold, and calculating and detached, but he's a creature of his upbringing he actually wants to do right he just doesn't use traditional methods.

I'd love to see Zemo step in to back up a returned Cap, seconding him with the old T-Bolts in tow against Norman's Dark Reign lunacy.

I can't see much else for Zemo to be, turning him bad guy again doesn't make sense, make him the gray area, the guy who does nasty things for the right reasons. The guy who crosses lines but is always on the side of the angels when it comes down to brass tacks. He'll manipulate, connive, swindle, lie through his teeth and even kill if he has no other choice, but he's always going to come out saving lives, working for the greater good.

Ya, I saw this in the Cup O Joe and had a nerdgasm. I loved the original Tbolts and seeing Fixer, Songbird and Mach-whatever (could be any number at this point, who knows?) and the merest mention of my favourite purple sock wearing villain, Zemo, was all it took to have me calling the shop to put Tbolts back on the pull list.
