Paul DeBenedetto and Matt Occhuizzo's version of Marvel's solicitations
We’re only hours removed from the comics news of the month decade year and already folks are churning out mashups and parodies. First there was Chris Samnee‘s wonderful-yet-disturbing MODUCK sketch — I tried to break down the acronym but gave up — and now there’s Paul DeBenedetto and Matt Occhuizzo’s take on Marvel’s first solicitations after the Disney acquisition.
That MODUCK image is awesome, but the acronym is, yeah, tough to crack.
Mental Organism Designed to Undermine Corporate Kinship, perhaps?
I guess no more crossovers between DC and Marvel. I don’t like this deal. It’s too bad, Marvel was really coming of age. DC will have to work harder now. It’s Bugs vs Mickey. Now Mickey has a stable of super-heroes. Over 5000 and counting.
