Although I am not a fan of comics, my daughter is and she has made comments about his work and is more excited about his comics than any other illustrator or artist. One can feel the bricks and mortar of his cities. You can smell the secondhand smoke slowly rolling out of some gumshoe's cigarette. The world this gentleman artist creates is real and has weight. Bravo, Mr. Martinbrough, on the excellent Luke Cage Noir! Your art on Issue #1 did not disappoint!
