Hey, JK! This is the first APE I’ve missed since the second one, in San Jose! I hated to miss the festivities; I love APE, whether it was held in San Jose, or Fort Mason in the February rain or at 7th and Townsend in November! But Mimi’s and my anniversary is the 12th and my birthday is the 16th, and we always take that week off to do something cool, so we had to miss APE to my great regret. I’m sure the show was slamming, though, as SF has a vibrant creative community and the show draws from literally *everywhere.* It’s always well-run and I’m sorry we weren’t there.
