Longbox partnering with the Apple megalith?

I like the damn thing less and less with each passing news item.

Thought the Longbox partnership might be with Apple since they mentioned it at that recent con, and while I’m hesitant because I can’t stand iTunes, potentially getting a tablet reader like that and having a huge corporation persuading the big publishers makes Longbox all the more appealing.

(And speaking of piracy, I wonder if publishers aren’t going to consider launching on Longbox the perfect moment to crack down on the scanners. They might even work together!)
