Still, as I understand it, these &#039;issues&#039; will actually be books.  Charging over twenty bucks for each volume in a series of huge, rich, beautiful books isn&#039;t that shocking (nor that difficult to swallow, speaking as a fan of huge, rich, beautiful books).</description>

		<description>Exactly this trend was the reason why i dropped my TCJ subscription a few years ago.
The issues got bigger and bigger. Too many essays by kids right out of literature class, describing in detail a panel sequence that was printed next to the text or - as it often happened - three pages away from where it was mentioned.
And not rarely the news had five pages of minute by minute court room recounts that could have been condensed into two paragraphs. I still have a years worth of unread Comics Journal magazines on my shelves.</description>
