The Trotsky and Hoover books are both excellent. Too bad they're not selling better. Go buy 'em, folks!

I think Geary did a great job on the Trotsky book. And I have loved all of his murder books. He puts in such neat details - I booktalked his Lizzie Borden book to an alternative high school some years ago; he mentioned the tune for the Lizzie Borden ditty, and I sang it in my booktalk!

This is priceless - a funny and spot-on summation of how writer/artists cope with their editors:

"Hill and Wang demanded a little more detailed script and description of what the visuals were going to be in each panel. So I make it up if I can’t think of something off the top of my head. That’s usually how it turns out in the final comic. Or it’s something completely different."

Keep up the great work, Rick!
