I have all the Middleman comics, and the show was quite faithful, most elements on the show came right out of the comics, as did some of the plot lines. My family likes the show more than the comics; I read the comics first, so I love them and think the show is really cool to watch. I annoy them by pointing out where the show diverges from the comics.

This week, I read a review copy of Nancy from Drawn & Quarterly - gorgeous treatment of comics I used to read as a little girl. I also read a (purchased) copy of Eleanor Davis's latest book, The Secret Science Alliance and the Copycat Crook; the art is so much fun, I'll have to go back and check out everything in many of the panels - plus the story is lots of fun.
