I know I’ve seen most of those coloured pages before…

…ah, found it: http://www.novaprimepage.com/news.asp

Couple of other pages there.

Lol what is going on there?” Who’s the other Sphinx -like guy facing off against Sphinx? I recognise some of his allies but not all. Is that Moonstone, Man Wolf and another Darkhawk? Who’s the green guy and the guy with the gun?

Moonstone, (a) Darkhawk, ManWolf… the green guy is Basilisk, and the one with the gun is Ulysses Bloodstone (father of Elsa Bloodstone from Nextwave.)

Curiously enough, almost all of those people are empowered by alien gemstones of one kind or another. If I recall correctly, a Thunderbolts story tied together things like Basilisk’s Alpha Stone, Bloodstone’s gem, Moonstone’s gem, and so on, as belonging to a very early incarnation of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
It’ll be interesting to see if that’s what’s going on here, somehow.

Dangit, posted my above and didn’t realize someone else already had my name. The first and second Michael M’s are not the same. Heh.
And BTW: I looked it up, and Man-Wolf, Basilisk, Moonstone and Bloodstone were indeed revealed to be empowered by Kree stones of power which once empowered the first incarnation of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Details in Thunderbolts #45-46.

I expect that’s one of the various evil Darkhawks, and an alternate timeline version of the Sphinx.

I love this comic. I would love it more if just once in a while it wasn’t part of a crossover.

“I love this comic. I would love it more if just once in a while it wasn’t part of a crossover.”

To be fair, it’s not actually part of a crossover. “Realm of Kings” is a bit more like a signifier that this is a cosmic book, and thus won’t star Norman Osborn and his cavalcade of costumed criminals.

> …an alternate timeline version of the Sphinx.

Looks more like Young Sphinx vs. Old Sphinx to me, Kang vs Immortus-style.

It’s just great to see Nita again, even if it’s just for a storyline.
And Nova is one hell of a book, check Nova and Guardians of th Galaxy.
