Like the Magnetic Fields? Well, even if you don’t, or if, like, me, you’ve never heard a Magnetic Fields song in your life before (I’m deprived, I know) you’ll still want to check out this art blog, created by a group of London artists dedicated to making comics based on every song from the Magnetic Fields’ 3-disc 69 Love Songs. Sweet! I actually am a huge fan of The Magnetic Fields and I love that album. The love songs on that album range from being sweet to bittersweet to downright disturbing. But they’re a lot of fun.

Buy “69 Love Songs” right now.

I love the Magnetic Fields I own many of their recordings including the three discs that are “69 Love Songs”. I love comics too. It was probably a fun project to create, but am i going to sit down and read that? Naw.

I came to know of The Magnetic Fields in a backwards way, after hearing Peter Gabriel’s sweet cover of Book of Love.

This is amazing! I would love to see this published. It’s an inspiring project! I’ve done similar things in my sketchbooks over the years for songs from bands like The Smiths to Pulp. It’s a fun way to merge two art forms you just love into a something new!

Huw “Lem” Davies’ six page strip on that blog for the song “I Don’t Believe in the Sun” is some truly great stuff. Especially if you listen to the song a long with it. I would love to have a book of all of these.

I just wrote a song about love for my girlfriend and I thought I would find lyrics on your blog so that I can compare my song :P but anyhoo… you’re blog is wayy nicer than mine that’s for sure! If you have the extra 3 minutes to listen to the song I wrote that’s on youtube, click here A Song About Love and dont forget to rate and comment the song! :) thanx SOOOOOO much! :D
