Garfield like you have never seen him before
Square Root of Minus Garfield is a webcomic devoted to mashups of the newspaper strip Garfield with various other things—if you’re looking for Garfield Unix jokes, for instance, go no further. This is a particularly awesome comic, as it combines Garfield and his Japanese cousin, Michael, from the manga What’s Michael? which used to be published by Dark Horse but, sadly, seems to be out of print.

Clever. I really enjoy the Garfield minus Garfield. This looks to be more fun in the same vein. Incidentally, the manga is ‘What’s Michael,’ not ‘Where’s Michael.’

Not just sad, but a damned shame. That was one good comic.

Actually, the Square Root of Minus Garfield site is unique in that it’s a fan contribution site. Anyone can enter their variation of the Fat Cat comic. That saves the owner of the server from having to think up new ideas.
Every time I think there’s going to be a lack of new comics, the next statical update shows more comic than before. It’s gotten so that it’s gone from 3 times a week to five times a week, to every day now. If it continues to grow more popular, it might have to do two comics a day just to deplete the latest backlog.
