Hey everybody,

I’ve been collecting Spider-Man memorabilia since I was 4 years old, and as you can tell, it definitely shows. In fact, I have so much stuff that it has spilled into other rooms and a hallway full of boxed Spidey stuff waiting to find it’s home on my shelves. I was on the TV show Ultimate Collector’s when I was 16 (it was on HGTV, so the only people who recognized me from it were my high school lunch lady and a classmate’s mom; not exactly a young male demographic) and I am now 24 and have not slowed down in my collecting.

In fact, my collection has caught some filmmakers’ eyes and right now I am a finalist to be followed to Comic-Con by a camera crew for a new documentary about the convention, produced by Morgan Spurlock, Joss Whedon and Stan Lee. Here is my submission video with a tour of my collection and some of my more unique items and things that aren’t clear in the pictures:

Wish me luck!

One item that I did not get to in the video but is pictured here is my Spider-Man slot machine, straight from a Japanese casino. Nothing is better than getting a jackpot and hearing Doc Ock yell at you in Japanese.

Good Lord!
I wonder if he coughed and gagged out spiderwebs.

Heh, the spider-man troll doll cracks me up.

love it!!

Too few HeroClix. You call this a collection?

You had me at the Spider-Man guitar. This is great. Thank you for sharing.

Behold the Spiderman museum!

But would he trade it all if it meant he got to kiss a girl?

I kid, I kid…

Incredible collection, yes, but how does he feel about One More Day?

Actually, while there was some pretty cool Spidey stuff in that collection, what really impressed me was his “butcher cover” of the Beatles’ Yesterday & Today album framed and hanging on the wall… I want to know how he found one of those!

Holy Wow, dude! I officially bow to your AMAZING Spidey collection! I see you’ve got an original page with the Vulture..what issue is that from?

If it’s possible to have too much Spidey, this is how. Very impressive collection.

holy shit.
someone REALLY likes spider-man here. (and it isn’t me)

Very impressive. I thought i had addictions but apparently im still small league.

WOW. Just…WOW.

I guess he could write Spider-Man at least.

I wonder if he’s the guy who has the tat of the Spidey suit on his chest? Maybe he could add that dude to his collection.

hummmmm, i wonder how many are clones???

Is that a real amazing fantasy 15 next to the 30th ann. hologram poster?

Watch the video masterOFsoup, it is indeed a real one! Very cool.

uhm… Do you have cancer and know the secret identity of Spiderman?

Wow, this is unbelievable. Good thing you don’t have to open the window for air!

Do you also have the complete comic collections of Spider-Man besides the two books I aw on your wall?

Bravo
MK

That is abso-friggin-lutely AMAZING. I fancy my Spidey collection as being pretty big but it doesn’t even compare to this. :O

Couldn’t tell if you had any but there were many Spider-Man related items released in the 60′s that are really cool and some are hard to find. If you are interested.

MK

Thanks for the kids words everyone! I’ll try to address the few questions and some comments.

Shaun- Watch the video! I have a fantastic girlfriend, so luckily I will not be trading it in for a kiss haha. As for the Beatles album, my mom steamed the original cover off herself when it first came out and luckliy got one of those rare butcher covers.

Justin- That page is from an issue of Sensational, but I am drawing a blank on the exact number. I’ll check.

Dan Vivadio- Sorry, no Spidey tat here.

MasterOFsoup- Yep, a real Amazing Fantasy #15.

MKramer- I have a ton of comics but didn’t think that was worth including in pictures. I don’t have originals of every issues (those early ones are expensive!) but I do have them in collections. I have a couple items from the 60′s and I love the 60′s stuff, but as you said it’s hard to find. Are you saying you have some? If that’s an offer I’m all ears! spidermanbrokenarrow@gmail.com

By far the most phenomenal shelf-porn I’ve ever seen.

How do you dust all that???

I wonder if it’s possible to get a PhD in Spiderman?

I bet it takes a week to dust all that in the room.

I think there were some SPIDER-MAN cuff links…those were cool

A man could put himself thru college with this room.

This column is getting tiresome… am I jealous of these guys? Sure! Will I ever get all of that crap? No! It’s not so much like exhibiting a museum every week as it is somebody gloating about how much more they have than you do. Maybe if we stopped with the multiple angles of all the best pieces, I don’t know. It seems like weekly showboating.

Great collection. I thought I had too much, now I don’t feel so bad. Is there anything missing from your collection that you’re looking for?

I wonder who his favorite superhero is… it must be Superman

btw, how do you manage to pay for all this?

Holeeeeeee crap.

Simply……AMAZING……

Awesome………..But where are the comics?

He kind of looks like william defoe……i found that highly amusing.

I am a huge Spidey Fan…But I have nowhere NEAR this amount of stuff! Whenever I see this stuff I am usually “jealous” of actual key comic books as opposed to action figures and such.

I would have that AF#15 displayed FAR more prominently…

I did use to have that inflatable Spider-Man…Sadly, it became the unofficial mascott of my floor in residence while in university and he did not survive the year…Inflatable Spidey would definitely put “BND” Spidey’s shagging and drinking ways to shame.

Do you have the Kubrick Spider-Ham? I don’t see him in there anywhere.

I do not have the Kubrick Spider-Ham, definitely on my “to-get” list!

I’d like to see a follow up with his comic books.

Absolutely brilliant. Absolutely overwhelming.

Lots of current stuff, not a lot of vintage stuff… I’d prefer a smaller collection of vintage 60′s 70′s spiderman stuff.

Simply Fantastic! Love this Collection! Has inspired me to put mine up for viewing!! Well done. Thanks for sharing!!!

This is what happens when Peter Parker drives drunk and rear-ends you without auto insurance.

Amazing AND spectacular! Awesome collection. The Spiderman slot machine and pinball machines rock! This makes me and my collection feel just a tad inadequate: http://coolandcollected.com/a-collection-a-day-28-spiderman/
