This weekend’s HeroesCon will feature an art auction, and artist Jim Rugg is showing off his submission — featuring everyone from Lobo and Hellboy to the friggin’ Road Warriors — on his blog.

On an unrelated note, why the hell do I not have this convention in my travel plans every year?



I see no Snake Plissken, Terminator, Col. Matrix, Buckaroo Banzai, Rambo (though I do spot a Cobra), Conan (yes that’s The Arnold three times), or Indiana Jones there. Not my heroes.

Otherwise awesome.

This dude’s childhood spanned forty years.

That is a pretty badass collective there, though very little crossover with my own personal list. Tick and RoboCop would make it, and maybe Kitt. Now, if he added Snake-Eyes, Optimus Prime, Conan, Tarzan, Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry, James Bond, Reggie White, and the Gil Gerard version of Buck Rogers, then we’re talking…
