According to the teaser on EW’s website, the cover story takes you behind the scenes for the making of Green Lantern movie. “We need a circus of Timothy Learys to think of things Hal would invent with his ring,” Reynolds says. Tune in, turn on, power up.

I think I… like it?

Jesus…. what’s with the weird lines? Otherwise it’s SO close.

Does anyone else think he looks a bit like Will Ferrel here?

The mask could use some work but otherwise that’s pretty damn good.

like the costum but the hair looks like Ryan got hit by lightning plus he seems ticked off in the picture.

Demoncat, superheroes aren’t supposed to smile.

looks great!

Ewww. Gross. Especially the mask.

Why did they feel the need to re-interpret Gil Kane’s perfect costume design?
Why does everybody in Hollywood have to mess with what is already right?

I agree, looks pretty good but the mask just seems…off somehow

I dunno, this has to appeal to the public who are not comic readers. The mask is off, and I don’t get the muscle line thingies.

The constructs better be awesome or I’m gonna be very concerned.

Are you people blind? It looks nothing like Green Lantern’s classic costume – nothing. And what it does look like…ain’t an improvement. It’s hideous.

I agree that it’s hideous. It somehow manages to make Reynolds look like Ben Stiller with a receded hairline. This does not make me hopeful.

That looks really awful.

Awful… Looks like Ben Stiller in a green Slim Goodbody (remember him?) costume. Pass.
