Exclusive Preview | IDW’s Infestation #1

IDW manages to find something new to do with two of comics’ favorite subjects this year, with Infestation breaking new ground for both zombies and crossovers. The story that starts in Ashley Wood and Chris Ryall’s Zombies Vs. Robots reality before crossing into the universes of Ghostbusters, GI Joe, Star Trek and Transformers begins this month with a first issue written by fan favorites Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, with art by David Messina. Want more? The story continues in bi-weekly minis for each different franchise running through February and March, before Infestation #2 brings everything to a close in April. Well, almost everything… Abnett and Lanning are sticking around in the Transformers universe for awhile afterward with a new series, Transformers: Heart of Darkness that launches in March, after all. The writers tease both series on CBR right here.

Infestation #1 is released January 26th.

Gah, more zombies.. it is a real infestation.. Walking Dead is fine, but Marvel and such. I mean in the Transformers, meh, unless they are energon zombies.

one and only lighten up a bit. its realy done in fun and parady not to be taken to heart. besides fantasy a\k\a “make believe” can never hurt you. remember Grimm’s Fairy tales same thing. they to tend to be dark.As for licensing on sg1 paradies or satires light or dark are not affected by copywrite laws. Not sure why, maybe dumb luck?
