Saturday Shelf Porn

Welcome once again to Shelf Porn, our look into the hearts and homes of fans around the world. Today’s submission comes from Fran Sad in from Lausanne, Switzerland, who shows off a HUGE collection of graphic novels, posters and the like.

I’m going to be out all this coming week, so there won’t be any Shelf Porn next Saturday, but in the meantime, please do what you can to fill up my in-box with pictures of your shelves while I’m away. Send your write-ups and jpg’s to jkparkin@yahoo.com, and I’ll sort’em when I get back.

And now here’s Fran’s pictures …

This is a beastly collection.

love the potrait of sand mans version of death. not to mention the shelf porn shows a true comic book lover to have all that reading material.

fantastic collection! love all the death posters.

complete Tin-Tin in albums, wow. Awesome collection!

Is the round object on the table in the second picture supposed to be a rover from The Prisoner?

Great collection. I never took the time to frame my Death posters and now they are no more.

Great collection!!!! (mais Indochine, vraiment?)

I can’t read the titles.
Photos pixelated.
Please upload bigger versions.

hello everybody,

thank you all for the comments. It’s just a part of what my collection was. I had lot of statues, action figures and monthly comics, but I’m a complicated person and lot of stuff disapeared for diverse reasons (change of taste, unenployment, need to pay the bills, etc.) So, what you see is almost the ten last years of my life as a comic fan.

@ Mark, I’m affraid the round object is just a cheap lamp!
@ olokin, The Tintin collection, the french comics and the Betty Boop collection are to my fiancee
@ ArnaudXIII, About the Indochine dvd: YES!!! vraiment!!!

I am a friend of Fran and i just wanted to say that this collection is nothing and i mean NOTHING compared to his collection he had in his last appartment! noneless i know no one with such love for comics and graphic novels like Fran and his knowledge of both BD and american comics has no limits!
I am very happy to see he is getting the attention he deserves!
INDOCHINE YES!

thank you my dear Brat-Girl, you are to kind. I miss you.

TOO kind of course. damn computer…

What is that Vertigo logo thing on the shelf with Persepolis on it? Love the Death posters!

that’s just a badge from a UK Con in London from fifteen years ago at least.
