Ahhh collections like that kill me. I can’t not take my figures out of the package, and this is why…it’s a nice collection, but it looks like a store.

Makes me sad. :(

The Star Trek figures fill me with joy though. Those were some of my favourites as a kid. :)

Love the Potter collection, now im upset I missed out on those figures when they came out :(

That is… frightening…

@Brendan – Yeah I don’t normally take my figured out of their boxes.. they Star Trek figures you see I have all mint in package but the purchased about (200) of them opened. Yeah it does have that store vibe to it. But it’s a small room and I really wanted to be able to enjoy my collection.

@Chad – Thanks, Yeah I really enjoy my Harry Potter figures

@Anthony – Thanks… I guess :)

Great collection Kenny. A lot of my figures are all stored away in boxes. I love how you have most of yours out to still look at. Awesome stuff!

Omg.. Didn’t know you had some many Star trek action figures, you got enough Data’s to reenact TNG – A fistful of Datas :D

I could spend housr looking at these, I dont know how you keep your hands off opening the boxes, that sir takes dedication lol. Brilliant collection.

love all the star trek stuff . including all the worfs. also love the harry potter merch all together almost enough to have one own harry potter shrine or store of just harry stuff

And is that a case of Romulan Ale beer in one of those pictures? Nice!

OMG – OCD is alive and kicking in this collection (just joking)

Love the Star Trek collection – especially the Dolls.

I’m with a previous poster – I love taking them out of the box and putting them on display. I prefer to have them in character-based poses etc. Just seems nicer that way. But each to their own.

Cheers

Dusting must be murder…

Thanks everyone for all your comments.

@Rico – Yeah I stored my figures for years.. but when I can have them out I love seeing them all.

@Erlend Aakre – LOL.. yeah love my Star Trek figures

@demoncat – :) Yeah Harry Potter has been my recent obsession.

@Mysterious Stranger – Yeah I didn’t get those when they first came out because I had not seen the show, but after watching it I went all out to find them.. still need a few more to complete my set. And yes that is a case of Romulan Ale, purchased it at the Las Vegas Star Trek Experience when that was around.

@Jamie Yeah I have days where I want to take them all out of their packages.. but I’ve kept them in for so long and for me it’s easier to display them by tagging them to a wall.

@CapCanuck Yeah dusting is a chore, I lightly dust every few weeks.. but a good cleaning once a year. I do it in sections.

Reminds me of how disappointed I was and am that I wasn’t able to get the Neca Ginny Weasley figure. :-(

But yeah, that is one mind boggling collection. I’m suitably impressed.

Nice collection. Very focused and it’s displayed well. Sometimes packaging is part of the appeal and it displays easily. How many Yodas have to lose their cane or snake before you just leave him in the package. I prefer a mix of open and packaged myself and have about a 60/40 (60 opened) split for my displays. Just so you know. I think it’s better than a store because it’s so complete, so fulfilling.

@Derek Thanks, yeah the Harry Potter figures were fun to find and collect. Now a days with the internet it’s much easier to find figures.. of course it depends on how much you’re willing to pay.

@Todd Thank you for your kind words. Yeah since I don’t open the figures when the opportunity came up to buy all those loose Star Trek figures I couldn’t pass it up because I’ve seen those characters for years tightly sealed in their packaging.
