Justice League among Warner Bros.’ official Comic-Con bag designs
Warner Bros. has unveiled the 10 designs for the official Comic-Con International bags, which this year include promotional art for DC Comics’ relaunched Justice League, Cartoon Network’s Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Batman: Arkham City.
More than 130,000 of the oversized bags, described by Entertainment Weekly as the San Diego convention’s “ubiquitous accessory,” will be available to those attending the July 20-24 event. This year, for the first time, the 24-inch by 28-inch bags convert into backpacks. Other designs include The Big Bang Theory, Fringe, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, The Looney Tunes Show, ThunderCats and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7.
Check out the designs for Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Batman: Arkham City after the break, and visit TheWB.com to see the rest.

Oh good because my cat absolutely loved last year’s bag. It’s gotten pretty torn up and it’s about time it got replaced.

I can’t begin to express how unattractive I find that Justice League cover.

Alan – try eBay. Be prepared to spend $25-$50.

Overanalyzing time: Gotta love how the lone female figure on that Green Lantern bag is both the furthest away /and/ standing in a dainty way compared to everyone else’s “tough” pose. ‘course, I’m not that up on my GL, so maybe one of the other characters up there is female, too.
Either way, Wonder Woman’s looking agreeably badass alongside everyone else on that Justice League bag. And the gender distribution in the sidebars is just about even, and also full of badasses!

Wonder how long these bags will last? I barely made it 2 hours before the straps on last years bags broke. No matter how many I picked up to replace them, they broke within a few hours.

Glad it’s not just me, I dislike the JL redesign too. In other news, if they don’t revert back to the old numbering system when they reach historic landmarks, I will be very surprised. Anyway, I rarely buy the issues anymore, something needs to stand out besides a large #1 issue.

You are right Angelica and somehow that’s still an improvement over the days when the lone female was falling out of her torn clothing collapsing in the heroes arms. A long row to hoe.
