Robert Kirkman to appear on The View this Monday
ABC’s talk show The View will host their annual “spooky Halloween spectacular” episode this Monday, and who better to have as a guest than the creator of the hottest horror property around, Robert Kirkman. The Walking Dead creator is scheduled to be Whoopi Goldberg and co.’s first guest, so check your local listings and set your DVRs accordingly.

For what it’s worth, The View episodes are available on Hulu.com:

I’ll probably watch it there. Thanks for the info!

That’s the scariest franchise he’s ever been involved with!

He’s good around dead eyed zombies so he should deal with Elisabeth Hasselbeck just fine.

Okay this episode of the view could be good because I think Robert Kirkman can shut down that Conservative blonde bobblehead (Elizabeth Hasslebeck), the way Jesse Ventura took her out verbally a while back (here’s a clip of that particular episode http://youtu.be/wgarV13g6QM) if “Betty” tries to debate Rob Kirkman about how Walking Dead material for children (AMC last I checked is a pay TV channel, so it’s not subject to the FCC standards) is not appropriate for children, go get ‘er Rob, and go for the throat. {verbally that is

If Kirkman thinks zombies are scary they have nothing on those four cackling hens. Best of luck, Kirkman.

i have no doubt rob will hold his own with the ladies of the view including if elibeth gets on her high horse about the walking dead not being appropriate for kids plus hope rob hints at when the governor is going to show up .

Just watched his segment. Good job, Kirkman! He was able to get a word in over all the hosts trying to offer a thought and/or question.

Shee-eesh, all the vitriol directed at The View in these comments! It’s not my favorite show either, but hey, it’s got a large audience in demographics that aren’t typically aware of what the comics medium offers. If anything, we should be clamoring to get /more/ comics writers on the program.
While the TV show was probably the biggest factor in getting Kirkman on, hopefully his appearance on the show will encourage more View viewers to check out their local comic shop or the graphic novel section of a bookstore/library.
