Vertigo reveals the cover to Flex Mentallo deluxe edition

Sometimes I think I dreamed that DC Comics announced that they would finally collect Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s Flex Mentallo miniseries into a deluxe edition, but no, I didn’t dream it — it actually was announced earlier this year. And if you need more proof that it isn’t some sort of hoax, dream or Elseworlds scenario, today Vertigo revealed Frank Quitely’s cover for the Flex Mentallo Man of Muscle Mystery Deluxe Edition, which is due out in February.

Check out the entire cover after the jump.

anyone know if it’s going to include the original DP story where he was featured?
My guess is, not.

^ That would be awesome.

Regardless, I cannot wait for this!

There’s something about reading it in Italian…

I doubt it will include the original Doom Patrol story as that has been collected already.

I will say this much looking at the cover shows just how much better Frank has gotten since drawing Flex to begin with I also think the delay actually has been a good thing as if it had come out when it originally was going to there would not be the same amount of people wanting to read it . this mean there will be a much more deserving amount fan fair. Good day

Oh my God! A clear shot of Rex Ritz’s face! Finally! I need the reference material.

Rather masterful use of the aul’ trademark 4D.

i bought the original issues…but let me tell you that I was really happy when they announced that the HC will get new coloring! (as the old job sucks)

I feel lucky to have the original DP issues, and the miniseries in single issues (poor coloring or not).
I am tempted for one of the rare times in my life to rebuy something I’ve already got though.
