Dark Horse offers FCBD titles as free digital downloads
If you missed out on Dark Horse’s Free Comic Book Day releases, the publisher is making all four stories available digitally through the end of the month — for free, naturally — via its Dark Horse Digital store and app for Android and iOS devices.
That’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer/The Guild, by Andrew Chambliss and Georges Jeanty, and Felicia Day and Jonathan Case, and Star Wars, by Zack Whedon and Davidé Fabbri, and Serenity, by Whedon and Fabio Moon. Dark Horse’s 2011 FCBD title, Baltimore/Criminal Macabre, is also still available.

Lord, I miss Serenity. Seeing that comic made me wish that somehow Joss will defy all expectations and bring it back. “Hi, I’m the guy who just made a billion dollars. Let me doing Serenity 2.”

Is there a reason why all FCBD cOmics weren’t on Comixology on FCBD? If one of the goals of digital is for distrubution to people without a comic shop, shouldn’t everyone in Podunk, NE be allowed to download the FREE comics?

Lord bless digital (as there is no comic shop in my country). Loved the Buffy one and I’m wondering if Dark Horse will be willing to sell t-shirts with Jeanty’s Bettie Page design. I’ll definitely buy one.

Dark Horse’s digital app is a MESS.
I’ve downloaded it multiples times and I still can’t figure out how it works, or how to buy/download new comics, or even read the 3 free comics it comes preloaded with.
SHame, I really like their titles, and would buy a ton if I could.
