Melissa Smith splatters paint on paper, creates awesome hero art

These are awesome. It would be even cooler if the artist did a time-lapse youtube video of the painting process.

It is like they cartoon heroes are being dissolved… and yes I’d love to see how she does the work… I just thinkthis approach somehow takes the art it’s based on to a new level of meaning..
