Warwick Johnson Cadwell confirmed as new Tank Girl artist
Alan Martin has posted this short and sweet update to the Tank Girl Facebook page:
“TANK GIRL + WARWICK JOHNSON CADWELL = THE BEST COMIC OF 2013!!!”
Warwick Johnson Cadwell is, of course, the nicest man in the U.K. comics community, so this announcement has been met with no little jubilation from his friends on Twitter and Facebook. Here are some exclusive pieces sent along by Martin and WJC, the tryout art that secured him the gig. Dig that Gatchaman helmet.

If the choice was between this and that one artist that we saw pictures from about two weeks ago, then this is slightly disappointing.

THIS IS AWESOME. totally new and different and a really good complement to the insanity that is tank girl. i’m pleasantly surprised at how brilliant this choice is!

eh…I’ll wait to see an actual story before I form an opinion but the hipster “sloppy Bic pen drawing” style is starting to get old.
If it makes the story look good then I’ll be down, though!

I really like Warwick’s work, his style is a good fit for Tank Girl. I think I’ll be buying this one.

This looks mighty fine and I’m down for a copy but I’d be much happier if he finishes Gungle before starting on this one.
