DC reveals next lineup for Legends of the Dark Knight
DC Comics has released a new lineup for its digital-first Legends of the Dark Knight that includes Paul Tobin, Tradd Moore, Christos Gage, David Tischman, Chris Sprouse and Karl Story.
Launched in June as part of an expansion of the publisher’s digital-first slate, the out-of-continuity series features standalone stories by different creative teams chronicling some of Batman’s cases. New chapters can be downloaded each Thursday. Here’s the schedule for November and December:
- Nov. 1 – “Carved” by Paul Tobin and Tradd Moore
- Nov. 8 – “Unnatural Selection Part 1” by Ricardo Sanchez and Sergio Sandoval
- Nov. 15 – “Unnatural Selection Part 2” by Sanchez and Sandoval
- Nov. 22 – “Dreaming He is a Butterfly Part 1” by Christos Gage and Jheremy Raapack
- Nov. 29 – “Dreaming He is a Butterfly Part 2” by Gage and Raapack
- Dec. 6 – “No Reservations Part 1” by David Tischman, Chris Sprouse and Karl Story
- Dec. 13 – “No Reservations Part 2” by Tischman, Sprouse and Story
- Dec. 20 – “No Reservations Part 3” by Tischman, Sprouse and Story

I am torn.
For one side, it’s nice to know DC is not wimping out on creative teams for their digital initiatives.
For another, too bad they can’t have this actual creative talent on their own books. Hard to believe we have to put up with Tieri, Mychaels, Lobdell, Scott Clark and DiDio when we have Tischmann, Sprouse, Gage and Sergio Sandoval around.
