Superman artist Kenneth Rocafort launches sketch-a-day blog

As if drawing the monthly Superman comic for DC weren’t enough, Kenneth Rocafort just signed up for more work in 2013: a series of sketches done daily and posted online.

Titled “Mitografia” (Italian for “Mythology”), this new blog showcases Rocafort’s daily sketches done inside a moleskin. You can see Rocafort’s art every month in Superman, but the art you’ll see here is more expressive and cartoonish than what you’re used to from the artist on Superman or previous books. And best off all, he posts a new sketch every day!

Love his work. So interesting, lively and fun! Discovered it for the first time on Red Hood & followed him to Superman.

I’d love to see one of catwoman! (If your reading this Kenneth) his art is just awesome.

Puertorican. He’s definitely puertorican.

C’mon guys. How about a little more fact-checking before publishing your posts. Kenneth Rocafort is PUERTO RICAN! I’m a huge fan of the site, but this mistake has been a huge turn-off. Latino artists already get a minimal amount of recognition, so it’s important that you accurately identify the ones we do have.
