This is my Stan Lee Wall. A signed reprint of Hulk 1, Avengers 1, and Uncanny X-Men 1. I got a little lucky with these, Uncanny X-men is personalize to me because I was 12 when I got it, and Avengers has a nice Excelsior! written on it

I work from home one day a week so it is somewhat important for me to have a workspace I really enjoy. And what’s more enjoyable than Batman? Frank Quitely is my favorite artist so naturally the first bust I ever purchased was his from the Batman Black and White series. In the last year I realized how lonely he looked so i added Frank Miller and Paul Pope’s as well. ?On the far right there is a picture of me and Grant Morrison from SDCC ’11, he’s my favorite writer and honestly I should get it framed.

singles (Copy)

About a year and a half ago I had to get rid of about two thirds of my single issues. They were honestly encompassing all of my room and a great majority of my parents basement. I knew there was no way I could fine space for all of them in my new house with a roommate. When my roommate moves out and I change his room into a comic book room I hope to have these proudly displayed.

Sounds like you can’t wait for that roommate of yours to move out. Nice collection! It’s nice to see one that’s so well rounded.

You sound very passionate, keep it up!!

That’s nice and all, but after the Batcave, I’m not impressed. No offense.

Oh, and nice Jesus statue :)

cool collection espically managing to get a few signed pieces by stan the man himself. and sounds like you and your roommate have reached the point where its time to move on to other things. besides you wanting more space to properly display your collection out in the open more.

Nice collection.

Who did the Batman art with the orange background on your desk next to the Quitely statue?

The fact that you have three autographed Stan Lee comics IMO makes that bat cave irrelevant. If I visited your flat you’d just see me staring at those three frames all day! Good stuff. A nice collection just patiently waiting to be displayed in your very own Man Cave.

Funny thing – I have that same issue of X- Men but autographed by Chris Claremont.

Look forward to seeing your stuff after the flat mate moves out.

Love the collection – you’ve got some great graphic novels.

Now I want to read Bone by Jeff Smith.

Nice collection. I like that you’ve got everything in alphabetical order regardless of publisher.

Thanks for the nice words guys. It was really fun to come home from c2e2 and find my collection here. To be honest I’m not sure who did the Batman art, my Sister got it for me as a gift from a local art show.

For some reason, the phrase “ascend to my bedroom” made me both guffaw and cringe.

First though: nicely organized collection.

Second thought: how tiny is Jim Lee!?!?!?! Unless you’re some kind of giant (and/or Jim was sitting down in that photo) he looks to be almost Lilliputian!

I know what it is like not having a dedicated room for collectibles I live with my parents in an 11 by 11 foot room :/ can’t complain about free living space in my case.

Nice collection. Mine was spotlighted a few weeks back and looks like we have pretty similar tastes.

i used to have a buddy christ
from dogma right?
