‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ crashes in with first gameplay trailer

Last night E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, in Los Angeles, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and WB Games Montreal debuted the first gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins, the prequel to the blockbuster video-game series.

In addition to the villains we’ve already seen — Black Mask, Deadshot, Deathstroke — the trailer provides us with the first look at Bane and the Joker. It also showcases the new crime scene-scanning feature and “Remote Claw.”

Batman: Arkham Origins arrives Oct. 25 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360.

Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

I’m willing to bet the Joker will help Batman in this game just to piss of Black Mask, Joker wouldn’t won’t anyone else to kill him i’d say. The voice actings good all round.

Looks great! Happy that Conroy is gone… really sick of him always doing the part. The new guy did already great things with RE’s Chris Redfield and AC 2’s Ezio, so I am sure he will do a great Batman!
All in all, this trailer looks like mor eof the same, at least gameplay wise, but thats not a bad thing when we are talking about a game like Arkham. Storywise, this could be the best Arkham yet, with Deathstroke and Black Mask front and center (two of my favorite villains in all of DC, next to Bane and Joker, which are also in the game…yes), so yeah… Preordered,

Usually I do not learn post on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very pressured me to
check out and do so! Your writing taste has been surprised me.
Thanks, very great post.
