If you’d like to see your collection featured here on Robot 6, here’s what you need to do:

1. Take some photos and save them as jpgs.
2. Write a little something about your collection
3. Send them to me in an email.

Some additional tips:

1. Although we don’t have a minimum or maximum limit on photos, usually 10-15 should suffice. They also don’t need to be huge, so if you can shrink them down so they are less than 1000 x 1000, that would be great. You can help make your collection look nice by being sure to focus, use the right lighting, dust your shelves beforehand, etc.
2. You can either write something up that’ll appear at the beginning of the post, or you can describe each item. Be sure to indicate where each image should be placed within your write-up, but don’t embed the images into a Word doc. Just put the file name in brackets where you want the image to appear.
3. When sending images using something like YouSendIt or DropBox, please keep in mind that I may not get to your submission for a month or more, so make sure you don’t delete them or that they won’t expire.
4. Please include your name (just your first name is fine) and location with your write-up.

nice statues. really love the indiana one with that skull. and that big jabba throne one with slave Leia sitting on one end. cool collection.

That is a LOT of comics. Hopefully I’ll have that many in a few years time. Nice statues too!

Nice collection! I totally know what you mean about the statue sickness. Just wait until you discover the sideshow statues. Expensive! I’m a little worried about the statues on the small floating shelf– that’s inviting danger!

This would make a really good thing to post about:

I love Juggernaut vs Colossus statue.

Edmonton, represent!

Nice collection, really liked all the Enterprises!!

Oh my! The Christopher Reeve Superman statue is magnificent, the Star Trek ships are fantastic, and the comic collection looks epic!!! Wonderful job Jeff!

@Daniel,

while the Reeve figure is indeed magnificent, it’s not a statue. it’s a 1/6th scale high-end action figure from Hot Toys.

@Jeff, very impressive collection and those comic keys are making me jealous.

Thanks for the kind words people! @ el_caifan, yeah I was a little worried too, so only plastic ones went on that shelf. I have since doubled my statue collection and also built all new shelves. I will submit a new collection sometime soon. @ Shelf Porn, yeah cheating on the statues with that Reeves, but the likeness is so amazing I couldn’t resist! @ James McKenna Thanks. It is actually a resin model that a company from Brazil makes. You can get them sometimes on ebay for about $400 bucks with shipping and they are even better in person.
