SDCC ’13 | IDW Publishing rolls out Comic-Con exclusives

A limited edition of the Artist’s Edition: Best of EC Covers Portfolio, two new Locke & Key pewter replicas and a glitter variant for My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic #9 are among the highlights of IDW Publishing’s exclusive merchandise for Comic-Con International.

All of the convention-exclusive items will be available at the publisher’s booth, along with limited advance copies of the highly anticipated Superman: The Silver Age Newspaper Dailies, Vol. 1, and Berkeleyworks: The Art of Berkeley Breathed: From Bloom County and Beyond.

  • Artist’s Edition: Best of EC Covers Portfolio, featuring eight prints of classic EC covers by the likes of Frank Frazetta, Wally Wood and Harvey Kurtzman; limited to 250 copies ($50).
  • The debut of Best of EC Artist’s Edition, with an exclusive variant cover signed by Al Feldstein and numbered ($200); limited to 250 copies.
  • The debut of Feldstein: Mad Life & Fantastic Art, a deluxe, slip-cased edition, complete with hand sketches and signatures from Al Feldstein ($150); limited to 100 copies.
  • Artist’s Edition: Jack Davis EC Stories, with an exclusive variant cover signed by Jack Davis ($200); limited to 250 copies.
  • An exclusive edition of Mark Schultz’s Xenozoic Tales: Artist’s Edition, featuring a variant cover by Schultz ($200); limited to 250 copies.
  • An exclusive glitter variant cover of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic #9, featuring eight pages of material not available in the regular edition; limited to 1,000 copies.
