Hello and welcome to Shelf Porn, where we take you inside one fan’s house to check out their stuff. Today’s collection comes from Christian in Victorville, Calif., who shows us his comics, art, statues, original art and one gigantic gun.

If you’d like to see your collection featured here on Shelf Porn, check out the submission instructions.

Take it away, Christian …

*****

My collection flows from my love of Star Wars, and then branched out to DC, Anime, TV, Movies, Video Games and Marvel.

I collect a little of everything from figures and statues to comics and art to collector’s editions of movies and video games. It was Star Wars the Old Republic Collector’s Edition that got me back into collecting and back into comic books.

The TV room is filled with my collection. I try to make sure that everything is neatly placed and ordered.

Nice collection. I like the Sith/Star Wars shelf and the big gun!

Yes. Yes. And yes. Aweomo 5000. Love the claptrap picture. I am also a video game collector. I have the Gears 2 retro lancer. Very nice collection. You just gave me hope to get on here. Where did you get the Halo “Master chief” statue? Once again, very nice.

cool collection love the signed art work including the joker one by neal. plus love how all the statues

Nice collection, and cool displays there Christian. I too am here in Victorville Ca. Glad to see our “little” town being represented on here.
I’d show off my shelf porn on here, but I don’t have much displayed ( well, I don’t think I do ) Most of my Spider-Man collection is still in storage, from the wife and my many moves back in the Air Force. Maybe one day I’ll have a big enough place to display it all… but I’d need a few spare rooms for it all.
Hope to run into you one day around town, if I haven’t already.

Sam “Spidey” K

Haha, my games use to take up two shelves… Then I got desperate for money and traded a lot of games in, so now my shelf feels kinda empty :(

I can’t wait to get my collection room all set up right when I move into my new house in a few months, these shelf porn articles have inspired me to set one up. I love looking at them.

SamK, I have the same problem has you :) I have so much Spidey stuff since the 70s, I have no place to display them all.

Wow. Thanks for all the positive feedback. I spend a lot of time each week making sure everything is kept clean and organized. I have a tendency of moving stuff around once I feel it gets complacent. I have a lot more art that I just don’t have the space for and haven’t picked up frames for.

JenJen4280 – Thank you very much. I switched the Star wars shelf up a little. I moved the Sith down and the Jedi up. I put the Koto Clone Wars figures standing in a defensive manner and the General Grievious looking to pounce. Unfortunately, that meant I had to put Aayla Secura down to with the Sith. :)

Tre H. – Thanks. My collection started with video games and then branched out. I have a few other Borderlands Lithos, but I only have so much space, lol. I picked up the Halo Master chief at the AnimeExpo in 2012. The box was damaged and it was half off, so I grabbed that up quickly.

demoncat4 – Thank you. The Joker ended up getting bent when it was shipped to me, but I just decided to keep it since it was signed and it still looks awesome.

SamK – Thank you. Very cool to see someone is near me. :) A few spare rooms would be great. I understand the wife variable when it comes to collecting, but I do think my wife has finally just accepted that I will be collecting as she got me the Kitty Pryde and Iron Man statues for our wedding anniversary. I don’t do much hanging out in Victorville as I work down in Fontana, but would love to make some new friends.

Will – thank you. I completely understand that problem as I have had to do the same several years ago. Don’t worry, I am sure your shelves will fill up again.

Spider-prime – Some of the shelf porn articles here have inspired me as well. The best thing about collecting is sharing your collection with others and seeing other people’s collections. Unfortunately, I don’t have too much Spiderman stuff, but hopefully I can nab a few pieces to place in the collection.
