Happy Saturday and welcome to Shelf Porn, our weekly look at collections as submitted by fans around the world.

Today’s collection comes from Erik in Quebec, who shows us his collection of comics, statues, toys and more. If you’d like to see your collection featured here on ROBOT 6, just check out the instructions at the end of this post.

And now here’s Erik …

*****

My name is Erik Bouchard. I am from Canada, Quebec and speak French, so excuse my English.

I’ve collect comics for over 20 years, and I always wanted to have a place where I could get all sort of amazing stuff related to comics, cinema and games. When I was young I was a fan of the Ray Bradbury Theater. You know when he arrived in his office and there is all sorts of stuff? This was my dream to get a room like this one day. So here it is, and I keep adding stuff each month :) Thanks!

impressive. espically love all the comics hanging on the walls. plus that darth vader poster really is cool.

You win.

Wow you win hands down . Love the whole set up . Wish I could expand beyond my little office . How many years has it taken you to collect all that awesome stuff . Look at all the signature series cgc man I am totally jealous .

Oh, wow. Just wow. I have no idea where to start sharing my appreciation because that’s simply awe-inspiring. Amazing use of space, too, the way you’ve managed to segment the room(s) off without them feeling crowded or unwelcoming. And the air hockey table! Something I’ve always wanted to add to my geeky rooms but have yet to manage. Your collection is exquisite, and so is your home.

Wow!

Glad to see some Franco-Belge Stuff on the last row of your bookshelf!

2 questions :
– Québec Québec? ou Montréal?
– C’est quoi l’immense buste de Galactus avec le Silver Surfer? Ça me prend ça dans mon salon! (chuuuuut, pas un mot à ma femme!)

Belle collection :)

Awe inspiring collection, just amazing, loved the Thor 337 by Walt Simonson on the wall and the various Mcfarlane spiderman #1.
Great display and great use of space.

Lovely collection.

Who signed that X-Files poster?

Yeah who signed x-files poster?

What a setup! All the Thanos stuff was pretty sweet! Nice job, even if you’re probably a Habs fan! Lol!!

Mother of God. *lowers sunglasses*

“Dr. Doom’s Revenge”! I had that game for the C64, back in the day.

That is excellent! Love the Homer Simpson. And man, that’s one hell of an expensive comic collection. I too had that Dr Dooms Revenge game. Wish I still had it. Do still have the Generations poster. Always liked that one..

Quoi, ya même pas de comics Marvel en français des Éditions Héritage sur tes murs? Pfffff

Hahaha jte niaise, c’est vraiment une belle collection très bien présentée. Bravo!

I…I have no words…

Seeing Asterix et Obelix made me smile.

Just about perfect sir. Love the Infinity War poster!

I agree, it is the best (and most expensive) Shelf Porn ever! I didn’t know that Infinity War poster, but now I will hunt it.

Congrats!!

Hello and thansk for all the great comments. I am happy to see that you like my little geek room :)

Now to your questions…

The Darth Vader is not a poster but painted on the door. It was done by a art companir of Montreal name Grendel Design.

Its been +/- 10 years since I collect things for my basement and like to add new one each year.

I am from the province of Québec and the city of Saguenay at 5 hours from Montreal :) The Galactus bust is really a great piece of my collection. It’s from Sideshow collectible.

Yeah me too I am a big Silver Surfer but mostly Thanos fan. The comics that recreated the Silver Surfer #4 but with Thanos instead of Thor is a color sketch done on a blank comics from Anthony Castrillo.

The X-File sposter was signed by the one and only Gillian Anderson that I met at the Montreal Comic Con last year. :)

And no! I am not a habs fan at all. I was a Nordique fan, so we can say that my team is Colorado and I really like the big bad Bruins lol

Thanks again for all the great comments :)

Merci beaucoup, Erik.

Hands down one of the best shelf porns to date. Love it all!!!!!!

WAW !!! Super collection man ! ;)

AWESOME COLLECTION!!!

Usually, when they show us someone’s collection, it can be a mess of action figures just waiting to go down like dominoes if you bump into the shelf. Some of the collections this site posts can have bad designs, too much clutter or showcase very few collectibles but still get on this site.

Your collection (especially the slabs) is quite impressive. I can tell you can not only take care but do care about the collection. Congrats and happy hunting!

Love the corner shelving unit with the busts… where did that come from….?

Holy. Crap.

Vince ; It’s a simple CD holder that I brought long ago at Wall-Mart I think.

This is one of the most organized, and well displayed collections I have seen. Like the Bowen busts display and the graded comics are awesome. Looks like a lot if planning went into the set up. A job well done.
