Does "Hellboy in Hell" Finale Signal the End of Mike Mignola's Time With the Character?
While chibi versions of Harry Potter characters have been around nearly as long as the novels themselves, the illustrations have never been official — until now. Needless to say, they’re adorable.
Warner Bros. and J.K. Rowling have given their blessing to a line of anime-style Harry Potter merchandise, available exclusively in Japan (although we imagine enterprising fans in other countries will discover a way to conjure the products). It debuted with a pack of 12 cards/files, featuring such characters as Harry, Hermione, Ron, Draco and even Hedwig.
The cards can be found in anime specialty stores for about $3.15 each. The merchandise will expand in the spring to include rubber stamps, pins and keychains.
