The Deadpool Poutine Chimichanga is massive (and apparently delicious)

Deadpool’s legendary love for deep-fried burritos has inspired one Philadelphia restaurant to create a dish fit for a Merc With a Mouth (and a super-sized appetite).

Behold, the “Deadpool Poutine Chimichanga,” which was added to the menu of Cantina Dos Segundos earlier this month. You may want to grab a bib (and a pacemaker) as we describe it: braised short rib, french fries, fried cheese curd, black beans, bacon, and pickled red onion and jalapeno, served with a side of short rib au jus, and topped with sour cream onion, scallion and cilantro.

If you’re a vegetarian, don’t worry; Uproxx says you can substitute tofu and seitan for the spare rib, and ask them to hold the bacon and au jus (but, really, that seems to defeat the purpose).

Chimichangas are cool.

Has anyone ever been able to figure out what the deal is with the chimichanga thing?
Where did that myth about Deadpool start? Or is there actually an obscure comic I don’t know about where he even mentions them? And did the issue come after the memes?

It was actually a thing that started in Cable and Deapool # 13, ironically in that issue deadpool stated he didn’t even like chimichangas all that much he just liked saying it, chimichanga chimichanga chimichanga, and then ordered an enchialada, ever since then the chimichanga thing has kind of been a recurring joke, popping up every once in a while in the comics.

oh my God thank you.
