Jason Fabok's 10 Favorite "Justice League" Moments
Considering the number of DC Comics LEGO products out there, it’s probably only a matter of time before we see a set based on The CW drama The Flash. And when we do, let’s hope it’s this STAR Labs playset submitted to LEGO Ideas.
It’s created by Kizmo, who acknowledges it’s not exactly screen-accurate. However, it’s easily recognizable as the headquarters of Team Flash “while keeping it to a realistic and simple scale of 700 pieces.”
One side of the set features the team’s work station and lab, while the other hides Harrison Wells’ secret. It would include minifigures of Barry Allen, Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow, Harrison Wells, The Flash and The Reverse Flash. Kizmo breaks down more details, such as a treadmill, a possible Jitter’s logo on Cisco’s coffee cup, and a double-sided face for the Harrison Wells minifigure.
By now you probably know how LEGO Ideas works: Brick enthusiasts submit proposals for new LEGO sets, which are then voted upon by other fans. Those that attract 10,000 supporters qualify for review by a board of designers and marketing representatives. Projects that pass the review process then are transformed into an official LEGO product, with the creator receiving credit and royalties from sales.
The Flash: STAR Labs set has attracted 663 supporters since it was submitted on Feb. 1. That’s a long way from 10,000, of course, but 336 days still remain.
