A note to young writers. This two page spread is a dick move for a writer. The original script read like this:
Now, in my defense, Rahsan added way more panels than I asked for, by his own freewill, and the spread is way more awesome than I could’ve ever imagined it. Secondly, I think these spreads will become one of the defining images of the series. Thus, going back to what we discussed yesterday with page 1. The first three pages of each issue are repeated throughout the series. Again, this is because of the familiarity as mentioned, and also because these pages represent exactly what our P.O.V character is feeling in a hard, visual way. You understand when you look at this spread that his mind is a jumbled confused mess, as a thousand ideas race through them a mile a minute. So, Page 1 establishes how he thinks in a straight, easy to understand way, Pages 2 and 3 drive that point home.
Plus, this is going to look totally bitching on my wall.
