Activision debuts cover for ‘Deadpool’ video game
Activision has at last revealed the cover for Deadpool, the upcoming video game developed by High Moon Studios and written by Daniel Way.
Arriving June 25 for or PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, Deadpool is a third-person shooter in which the character — like his comic-book counterpart — breaks the fourth wall to interact with players, in between combat focusing on guns, twin swords and an expanded arsenal that includes lasers and giant hammers.

‘Deadpool’ video game gets June 25 release
Fans of Marvel’s Merc With a Mouth don’t have much longer to wait: Activision has announced it will release its Deadpool video game June 25 in North America (which probably means June 28 in Europe) for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Previously, the title had been saddled with a nebulous “summer” launch date.
To mark the announcement, the publisher has debuted a half-dozen new screenshots of the game, which will retail in North America for a lower-than-usual $49.99 for consoles and $39.99 for PCs.
New ‘Deadpool’ game trailer: ‘Let’s torch this mother!’
Activision and High Moon Studios have debuted a new trailer for their upcoming Deadpool video game that’s probably just what fans of Marvel’s Merc With a Mouth are looking for: Breaking of the fourth wall? Check. Violence? Check. Juvenile humor? Check. A reference to Cable’s “man-bazookas”? Naturally.
But there are also glimpses of gameplay, sprinkled liberally with gunfire, explosions and bloodshed. Watch the trailer below. Deadpool will be available later this year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Deadpool video game debuts new concept art, screenshots
Activision and High Moon Studios have released new concept art and screenshots for Deadpool, the upcoming video game based on Marvel’s infamous Merc With a Mouth. Considering that the game was announced last month at Comic-Con International when the wisecracking mercenary hijacked a Marvel panel, it’s only fitting that he also wrote the fact sheet provided by the developer, which you can read below.
Deadpool will be released sometime next year.

This afternoon at the Marvel Games panel at Comic-Con International, Marvel officially announced a Deadpool video game from Activision and High Moon Studios, with whom they’re also developing a Hit-Monkey game. Well, actually, Deadpool took over the panel himself to make the announcement.
If you weren’t in San Diego to catch the official announcement in person, don’t worry: The Merc with a Mouth has released his own teaser video, which you can watch below. The game’s set for release sometime next year.
