Just ahead of Friday’s opening, Mondo Gallery has unveiled Phantom City Creative’s Spider-Gwen poster from its exhibition of Marvel-inspired artwork.
Announced last month, “Snikt. Bamf. Thwip: A Celebration of Marvel Comics” will close the Austin, Texas, gallery’s 2015 schedule with art by the likes of Becky Cloonan, Francesco Francavilla, Matt Taylor, Tom Whalen, Matthew Woodson, We Buy Your Kids and more. Some of the other prints of the show were revealed last week.
Phantom City Creative continues its series of Mondo posters inspired by Batman: The Animated Series with “Mudslide” and “The Man Who Killed Batman.”
The first is based on the Season 2 episode that marked the second and final appearance of Clayface, who apparently meets his end in the ocean (don’t worry, returned in The New Adventures of Batman). The second poster, meanwhile, is inspired by the well-remembered Season 1 episode that explores just what the Dark Knight means to Gotham.

A veteran of Mondo’s film-poster offerings, Martin Ansin last year created a Thor print for The Avengers. His Iron Man 3 poster comes in two flavors: a 450-copy gold version ($50), and a 200-copy silver version ($75).
Following last week’s Black Widow and Hawkeye prints, Mondo two more limited-edition prints in honor of Marvel’s The Avengers: Captain America, by Phantom City Creative, and Bruce Banner/the Incredible Hulk (with Leviathan in the background), by Ken Taylor.
