If you’d like to share your collection with us, you can find details on how to do that at the end of this post.

Shelf space is the final frontier in this week’s Shelf Porn

When comic and video game creator Harold Sipe moved from Brooklyn to North Carolina, he found himself with a lot more room to display his collection. In today’s edition of Shelf Porn, Harold shares his collection of comics, action figures and more, with a heavy dose of Star Trek, Star Wars and spinner racks.

We’ve always heard “Nothing can stop the Juggernaut, but this week’s Shelf Porn puts that old adage to the test when Juggernaut meets an even BIGGER Juggernaut. Luckily neither of them can actually move, because they’re statues, or else we’d have quite a collision.

Today’s collection comes from Peter in Great Britain, who shows us his hardcovers, statues, books and more. If you’d like to see your collection here, you can find submission details at the end of the post.

Love and romance, comic book style

Kiss_Batman

This collection grew from Muggles to Marvel

IMG_3234

What started as a collection of Harry Potter merchandise has grown well beyond that into comics, video games and much more — but that doesn’t mean you won’t find a Sorting Hat in the pictures below.

“I started collecting seriously when I was about 11,” says Jordan from Southern California, who is now 24. “I bought my first piece of Harry Potter merchandise, and I was committed. Up until about six months ago, my main collection could be considered a small museum of HP collectibles. Though since the books and movies have ended, I made the hard decision to move on from that and packed up 90 percent of it to be put into storage. I am now finally able to fully display my other interests and hobbies, and I hope you enjoy my new collection display as much as I do.”

Check out pictures and video of her comics, books, toys and collectibles below.

Stand up and salute this Captain America collection

DSC03222

After buying his first Captain America figure, Chris Raimo was hooked — and today the illustrator shares his love of Captain America with us.

“This is what I have dubbed ‘The Cap Museum,’ which resides in my home office,” he said. “I have collected anything and everything Captain America since my first 90′s ToyBiz 10″ Cap figure. Since then I have tried to get anything I can with the Super Soldier on it, from socks to jack in the boxes to toothbrushes. My favorite thing to collect by far is action figures, and my favorite item is The First Avenger figure from Hot Toys. I’m still actively collecting and hoping to one day attain a Mego Captain America in package.”

Check out his pictures after the jump, and if you’re interested in submitting your images you can find details on how to do that at the bottom of the post.
